Yours truly standing before "View From A Venus Vestibule" on opening night of the Cosmos exhibit at Annmarie Scuplture Garden And Art Center in Dowell, Maryland this past Friday.  Fantastic show, I was really impressed with many of the pieces there, what an honor to be a part of this.  Many thanks to the good people at Annmarie Gardens. More pics below ...

Great space, good crowd too.

This scuplture was submitted by Michael Shewmaker from Florida. I also noticed works from California, Denver, New York, Maryland and many other locations.  The man just to the left of the sculpture is the juror for the show, Dr. Andrew K. Johnston, Center for Earth and Planetary Studies, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Another detail shot of "The Underestimation Equation".  What week is it again?  More to follow ...

Pictured above: detail shot of "The Underestimation Equation" reflecting light from a standard CFL bulb.  Stay tuned for more shots of this huge painting as the week progresses.

The Colors of My World

 Some days ...

- I look up and see gray

- I look ahead and see black

- I look across and see red

- I feel it flowing inside: the yellow

- I look down and see blue

Other days ...

- I look up and see blue

- I look across and see yellow

- I look around and see white

- I look around and see black

- I feel it flowing inside: the red

- I look down and see

the browns and

the greens

of the soft, grassy earth

effet papillon

Pictured above is another new mini that I finished this weekend.  "Effet papillon" is French for "the butterfly effect."
